Inside Genesis House: A Safe Haven for Displaced Youth

In every community, there are youth who find themselves with nowhere to turn—homeless, displaced, or unable to return home. That’s where Genesis House steps in.

Founded in 2016 by youth advocates Mark and Keia Farr, Genesis Youth Services opened Genesis House to provide a safe, loving, and structured living environment for youth ages 12–18. This home serves as a vital lifeline for young people facing instability, offering not just a bed, but a place to belong.

Residents of Genesis House receive:

  • Furnished private rooms
  • Healthy meals and living essentials
  • Mental health services and trauma-informed therapy
  • Life skills training and mentorship
  • Access to education and employment opportunities

We also ensure 24/7 staff availability, with respectful, qualified team members trained to support youth through their personal and emotional journeys. Genesis House represents more than a structured living environment—it’s a new beginning.
