Keia spends the bulk of her time motivating students and empowering them to live out their dreams according to all that God has placed on the inside. As a Regional Representative for the International A21 Organization, she is a forerunner in the fight against human trafficking. Through the years, Keia has built and leveraged partnerships in the religious, political, and educational arenas to bridge gaps and bring people to the table in efforts to aid at-risk youth. As a 30-year Life Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® and member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Keia has spent countless hours mentoring young women on academic achievement and success. She is the co-author of Synergy© and Diamonds in the Rough© two curricula aimed at helping at-risk youth. She has learned to pivot in a world where youth and law enforcement are at odds, where race plays a significant role, and where COVID has forever impacted the way youth are reached. Nonetheless, she has made the adjustments necessary to continue to successfully advocate and educate. Her greatest hope is that her ability to impart wisdom to youth will serve as a motivating force to educate, empower and edify them!
